I’m a Sephora VIB (Very Important Beauty Insider)
I didn’t make that up, I swear. On sephora.com, if you spend over $350/year (OMG, say it ain’t so!) you can continue to be a V.I.B. But I will say – I get tons and TONS of perks. For example, I just bought 7 items and guess how much I paid for them… Nope, that’s not right. Only $61.95! I’m sorry, but I think that’s pretty damn good. I bought 2 items that totaled $61.95, that’s free shipping, a deluxe sample of StriVectin Get Even Brightening Serum, Murad Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum sample with my 100 BI (Beauty Insider) points to try out, the new COACH Poppy scent sample that I’ve been wanting to test and few other goodies.
After years of not wearing much makeup at all (and don’t get me wrong… I still wore makeup – just the bare minimum) I’ve been sort of splurging on beauty products. I even bought a Metro Train Case (similar) a couple months ago for all of the makeup I have now. Before it was all just stuffed in a drawer. (Aww, how organized and responsible I’ve become.) I also bought a really handy OpenSky Exclusive: Lay-n-Go Cosmo – Cosmetic Bag from OrgJunkie that I just throw in my purse after I do my morning ritual and I’m out the door.
But back to Sephora – One thing I enjoy and appreciate online is reading and writing my own reviews. And Sephora really helps with finding the right beauty products for your skin type and color, concerns, hair color, etc. Once I receive my items I will add an update on whether or not the products do as they say they will. UPDATE: After trying the above products out for a couple of weeks, I’ve come to the conclusion that, 1. I love the new Coach Poppy scent (YES!) 2. Clinique’s BB Foundation is not all it’s chalked up to be, I’m not a fan of the sunscreen scent or the coverage on hot summer days. And 3. I’m loving the StriVectin Get Even Brightening Serum! I’m just about done with the bottle and I have seen a difference in my skin tone evenness and firmness.
